LST/AIRCRAFT CARRIER BUNK BED QUARTERS SET
I wanted to create a set of bunks to be used on both ship and in tented barracks but I didn't realise that the ship bunks are usually held in place with suspension chains and not timber frames. Oh well, timber it is. I cut the frames from 10mm square dowel. Each bunk set sleeps 4 crew. I can swap them in and out for use as female or male quarters.
Experimenting with Aircraft carrier/LST deck - should I try green screen? But then what s the point of making models. Model aircraft are 1/35 scale made by my son.
The completed LST quarters set made from MDF. The red heat control valve is a leggo wagon wheel. After I learned the blankets should be blue. Of course, the Navy!
Most of the female scenes are based on the Russian TV series "The dawns here are quiet" available for free on YouTube. You can watch the 1968 version but I like the latest version of the story.
