Steering WheelBrass typeBrass was a bit tricky to work with because of the amount of heat required to fuse the solder joint. In the end I went to a workshop and they used a gas torch to do that. Later, however, the joint separated. So I used a wood version after that.
But that was too hard!

SandingThen bolted into a drill press for sanding.
Cutting the inner component with a 4mm diameter hole saw. Outer is screwed down to the base.
