The Doctor
The doll was a little shorter than the 1/6 scale dolls I have in the diorama. I thought I would give the doctor a leg makeover by transplanting a Harry Potter series onto her. This gave the doll extra height. It also means the doll can wear similar clothing to the other dolls, though that isn't a real problem. Since this work was carried out I discovered the new Mattel WW84 body which is way more realistic. However, I have not been able to take the head off and swap it onto the Mattel body.
The old legs came off with a bit of effort after undoing the securing screws and splitting open the plastic parts. I then cut slots into the Harry Potter series legs. They now fit over the old doll hip joints. I just have to put some screws or pins in them but for now they hold OK.
A month or so down track I have decided to put the doctor back together for her scenes in the story and maybe do the leg transplant later, if at all. Reason being I have been contacted by the shop I bought it from asking about the progress with the TARDIS and can I send them an image so....haha, put it back together.
