Unit Nurse and Medics
I use a variety of doll types in the dioramas. These dolls are the Diana Prince Wonder woman doll with various head swaps. Doll on the left is the original. I always start with paper sculptured around the doll, unravel it and cut to shape. I then screw it up a few times to soften it. I then wrap it around the doll again before tracing it out on yellow card which then becomes the pattern or template. The waist on these dolls is very small and the hips quite wide which causes issues at the back of the doll. To get around this I have started cinching the fabric in several places to pull it in tighter around the doll's waist. I haven't exactly nailed the design yet.

The head is from a $3US dollar store doll attached to a Barbie fashionista. This doll is also the tallest doll in the collection and I was surprised that the tunic came up a bit short off the sewing machine. This is one of the tallest dolls in the Barbie range and even towers over the male dolls in the collection.
Inside one of the medic tents (MDF painted olive drab)
"Oh, the boys have begun their bombing run right on schedule. Wow those Germans are really gonna get it now. Gee that last explosion was really close!".
"My boyfriends a B17 bomber pilot. He says if they aim for the field hospital they won't hit it! Oh boy, he's such a good pilot, I feel so safe here while he's up there!."
Tire pressure seems about right.
Two dolls in their surgical gowns. I have yet to make the inside of the medic tent, so far just two bunk beds.
